Juli Lynch, PhD, equestrian, and author will be at Plum Lake Equestrian Center January 20 & 21 for the first of the Epala Winter Equine Facilitated Transformation Workshop Series. In this first workshop we with take assessment of our personal vision and passion with the help of the Plum Lake herd. Friday night kicks off with a Lecture and Wine & Cheese Reception beginning at 6:30. Then on Saturday, we will use the horses to help us “cut through the garbage” to help us figure out what we really want to do, what our visions, dreams and passions really are, and what we need to do to achieve them. Cost is $50 for Friday only or $175 for both Friday & Saturday. Food and beverages included. Lakefront lodging available for Friday night at $30/person. We have a full arena for our marketplace, The Bizarre Bazaar in the Barn, Oct. 29 from 10-3. This eclectic group includes a little bit of everything from gifts, to unique clothing, to tack & riding apparel, to arts & crafts, to cheeses & baked goods, to wine tasting & sales, to non-profit informational and educational booths, to massage & reiki (both animal & human!), holistic modalities and more! Our Haunted Hayrides depart the barn at 11, noon, 1 & 2 and take about 20-30 minutes (if they return at all…). The cost is $5/brave soul ($4/person for groups of 5 or more). Proceeds to benefit our Plum Lake Emergency Services.
The Special Events schedule: Canine Agility Demonstrations in the out door arena at 10:30, 12:30 & 2:30. Energy work demonstration at 11:30. Juli Lynch, PhD, author and equestrian will give a talk at 1:30 entitled, The Mind Aspect of Human and Horse Transformation – Both You and Your Horse Use Multiple Brains – NOT just the One in Your Head. Expand and Enhance Your Relationship with your Horse by Using all your Brains! Alpha Dog will have ongoing demonstrations in dog massage & reiki at their booth in the indoor arena.
