Katie Hiller returns the end of April for our first mounted dressage clinic of the year! We welcome riders Chrissy Hegeweld with her 2 horses, Kristen Mikula with her 2 horses, Sheri Buller riding one of our horses Saturday, and, of course our Barn Manager, Penny Wahlgren riding 2 of our horses, and I’ll be riding the other 2. Katie can take 10 rides/day so we have room for a couple more riders if there’s any interest. Call 715-542-3742 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or to register as a rider or auditor.

Katie Hiller returns for another of her wonderfully educational mounted clinics April 29 & 30 beginning each day at 9am. Katie, an FEI level rider and trainer, has the uncanny ability to gear her instruction specifically to each horse & rider team. It doesn’t matter the skill level, whether competing or not, type of horse or even what discipline (dressage, hunter, jumper, western, etc.), she works with the individual on the universal classical principles of forward, round, rhythm and harmony. Both riders and auditors come away from a Katie Clinic feeling grounded, recharged, motivated and equipped to work independently until the next clinic!
$140/ride, $30/auditor, $20 stall fee/day (lunch, snacks and beverages provided). Credit cards accepted subject to 3% service charge.

Debra StephensonEquine Health & Wellness Fair May 13 Taking Shape!
Thank you Wisconsin Horse Council District 2 members for putting on the Fun, Food & Education Program today in Rhinelander! We appreciate so much your taking the time and making the effort to put this together. The food was great, the presenters interesting and the prizes meaningful! And, of course, being able to associate with other horse folks no matter what their “discipline” is always special. Kudos, guys! For those horse folks who don’t belong to WHC, check it out. It’s not expensive and they do a whole lot behind the scenes to keep us horse people riding and not burdened with impossible regulations while still protecting us by promoting worthwhile laws.
